The term “every day carry” is different for every knife user. For me, any knife that is too heavy to carry will be left at home. Not so with the Ultralight Eagle from Al Mar Knives. At 2 ounces and just over 9 inches, the Eagle slides into a pocket for light, easy carry.

Bruce Gillespie has made this knife from a steel that is new to me. This knife is made of M2 steel which is a high speed tool steel. This is used for the tips of drills and the cutting teeth of saws. This makes a great small knife, but tends to get brittle on a larger blade. The scales on this are cherry burl.
